Special meeting with the curators of the exhibition dedicated to Latvian money design Ramona Umblija and Holgers Elers will be held in the Embassy of Latgale GORS on February 11, 2015 at 12.00. They will give the introduction to the form and contents of modern exhibitions.
Is the exhibition a special media? What is its target group and how to reach it? Multimedialism and interactivity – foreign word or a reality and necessity? The author of the conception of the exposition Ramona Umblija and the author of the exposition design Holgers Elers will share their experience about the concepts of the exhibitions, design, and many other aspects of creating the exposition.
Any interested person but especially students of arts are curators are welcome to attend the meeting.
The exhibition “Money Design. PIN code” includes more than 40 banknotes and coins made by the most outstanding Latvian artists. It indicates all the money that was made during 20 years, the history of money elaboration, a romantic myth about the artist and his muse, as well as newly minted euro coins and other aspects of the design of money. The exhibition of the Bank of Latvia is created by design office “H2E”, the audiovisual technologies made by “SOLAVI” Ltd, multimedia created by Juris Podnieks film studio, the author of the portraits - Santa Savisko–Jēkabsone.
The exhibition of Latvian money design “Money Design. PIN code” was opened in the Embassy of Latgale GORS in November 18, 2014 and is on view until February 15, 2015.
