"Zīds"
The name of the cafe and the idea is the softness of silk, symbolically referring to the name of the concert halls project, a bird called “Zīdaste” and the latgalian “zīds” (in english – flower). The cafe is a place not only to enjoy the food, but also to have a wonderful view of Rezekne and use it as a place to work, create, wind down, meet friends and wait for events in the evenings. The visual identity of “Zīds” was created by a graphic design and brand studio “Asketic”, based on the visual lines of the embassy of Latgale GORS, telling the story of the cafe as a part of the embassy.
